Danielle Prontka is starting her 16th year as the Associate Orchestra Conductor of Memorial High School.  Prior to that she taught at Highlands Junior High in Goose Creek CISD.  Danielle received a Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance at Northwestern State University.

While at Memorial, Danielle has conducted orchestras at Chicago Orchestra Hall and three times at Carnegie Hall.  She has consistently received sweepstakes at UIL as well as been a guest clinician for schools across the state.

Danielle has served the state on numerous committees including Honor Orchestra Judging Panels, All State Panels and served as Orchestra Division Chair for Region 27 for the past four years.  She is the SBISD String Liaison curriculum designer for the district.

Danielle has received honors including SBISD New Teacher of Excellence, PTA Lifetime Achievement Award, MHS Teacher of the Year, SBISD Teacher of the Year, and the Elizabeth Brand Teacher of Excellence Award.

In her spare time, Danielle is a meeting and event planner where she plans meetings and events for 30 to over 2000 people.  She is involved in her church serving on the council, as the head of the church ministry teams, as a member of the choir, and teaching at seminars during the summer.  Danielle enjoys spending time with her family and traveling when she has time available.
